El director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch) reveló en Twitter la primera imagen oficial de Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis, Conan the Barbarian, Bullet to the Head) como Aquaman en Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). El mensaje dice: «There is only one true King» («Sólo hay un verdadero Rey»). Protagonizada por Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg y Jeremy Irons, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice está agendada para estrenarse el 25 de marzo de 2016.
