No estamos en todas partes en el mundo de los HÉROES DE PAPEL. Ayer lunes, Marvel Studios presentó el primer avance oficial de Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (Shang-Chi y la Leyenda de los Diez Anillos, 2021), situada en la Fase 4 del Universo Cinemático Marvel (MCU), que se estrenará el 3 de septiembre (Estados Unidos).

Alguien muy observador encontró una conexión con otra película en el MCU (ver imagen abajo). En Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Zach Cherry (Severance, Duncaville) es uno de los pasajeros de un autobús, habiendo interpretado anteriormente a un vendedor de hot-dogs en Spider-Man: Homecoming (Spider-Man: De Regreso a Casa, 2017).

Cuando le preguntaron a Cherry si era él, respondió que no, añadiendo un emoji con un ojo guiñando. 

Creado por el escritor Steve Englehart y el artista Jim Starlin, debutando en Special Marvel Edition #15 (diciembre de 1973). Marvel Encyclopedia Vol. 1 (2002) describe que Shang-Chi es “Maestro de Kung Fu y varias disciplinas relacionadas” y “bien versado en el uso de numerosas armas de artes marciales de mano, incluidos el bastón, los nunchackus o la espada de doble filo”.

Co-escrita y dirigida por Destin Daniel Cretton, protagonizan Simu Liu como Shang-Chi, Awkwafina como Katy, Tony Leung como Wenwu/The Mandarin, Michelle Yeoh como Jiang Nan (Yeoh interpretó también a Aleta Ogord en Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Fala Chen como Jiang Li, Meng’er Zhang como Xialing, Florian Munteanu como Razor Fist y Ronny Chieng como Jon Jon.
